WHAT TO PAINT
Chesapeake City is a tiny historic town nestled along the C&D Canal. It abounds with Colonial and Victorian buildings. Secret back alleys offer unique perspectives. Pell Gardens sits on the waterfront offering shade, greenery and fantastic views of the canal and graceful Chesapeake City Bridge. Restaurants and shops pepper the town intermingled with the private residences and B&Bs. Chesapeake City is surrounded by open farmland. Boats may dock on the waterfront or moor in the basin. A walking path around the basin offers great additional water views of the bridge and boats.
