PAINT THE TOWN!

WHAT TO PAINT
Chesapeake City, MD is a tiny historic town nestled along the C&D Canal in Cecil County. It abounds with Colonial and Victorian buildings. Secret back alleys offer unique perspectives. Pell Gardens sits on the waterfront offering shade, greenery and fantastic views of the canal and graceful Chesapeake City Bridge. Restaurants and shops pepper the town intermingled with the private residences and B&Bs. Chesapeake City is surrounded by open farmland. Boats may dock on the waterfront or moor in the basin. A walking path around the basin offers great additional water views of the bridge and boats.

Check out a few pictures from last year!

WET PAINT EXHIBIT
Bring a wet painting from the days' efforts to the Wet Painting Exhibit and Sale at Town Hall. Drop off is from 11:30 - 12:30pm. Pick up any unsold work by 4:30 pm.

Work must be ready for display( ie. framed or painted gallery wrap canvas and wired.) If your work requires alternate display options you are resonsible to provide them. Photographers are welcome!

The Wet Paint Exhibit at Town Hall is open to the public. Come to see the art, meet the artists and take home a painting!

EXTRA EXTRA! FOR THE KIDS...
We will have a fun little kids table on Satuday in Pell Garden. Kids can make a painting and leave it on display until they are ready to take it home.

PARKING
Parking is free everywhere. Park in the lots under the bridge or on the street. Everything is walking distance.
Bring water and all the standard outdoor gear.

Thanks to all the artists and collectors who made last year's event such a great success! Our 2012 event was featured in Plein Air Magazine's online newsletter.
